This is our pack of what was once 7 Standard Poodles. In the past 2 years , 3 of our beloved poodles have passed on due to problems associated with old age.  It's been heartbreaking to say our goodbyes to Mojave, Jade and Luna. It's also a profound reminder that it takes courage to give our hearts to our dogs as we know well in advance that their years on earth are far fewer than ours and that most likely we will end up grieving their loss. 

 The pack has a well defined hierarchial order and leadership seems to be determined primarily in terms of age, with the oldest being the most dominant.  At times, there are border skirmishes, but overall, they function quite harmoniously and lovingly.  In truth, we are a pack of 9 if you include the humans living here.
